Each home visiting program conducts data collection and service delivery in different ways. Data system business process maps are visual tools used to describe, in detail, the steps taken to complete a service delivery task or activity, and include processes related to data collection and entry into the data system. Once completed, business process maps are helpful for ensuring everyone on your team understands how services are provided, and how and when data are collected and entered into the data system. They can be shared with data system vendors, and as a training tool for incoming staff. In this session, DIG2 grantees will learn how the creation of business process maps can support their home visiting work and help them prepare for THV data collection. They will also have an opportunity to practice creating their own process maps and receive support from TEI using examples created with other Tribal grantees. |
